Ca’ Vecia used to be a barn belonging to Family Silvestri since the Thirties and abandoned until 1971 when Grand-Dad Gianni decided to come back to his native home. After his many working experiences in the field of the restoration industry he decided to create a small restaurant (with 3 bedrooms).

In Spring 1972 Gianni together with his wife and their three daughters opened his small trattoria, one of the most ancient buildings in the municipality of Gargnano, which is still run by the same family.

Since 2000 Ca’ Vecia has been run by Imelda and her daughter Valentina. Not only are they still maintaining the local cooking traditions, but are also in charge of the 5 bedrooms at the guests’ disposal.
